I’m very pleased to announce that the MOOC “Innovative Technologies for Sustainable Water Management”, developed within the Share Africa project in collaboration with Federica Web Learning at the University of Naples Federico II, is now online and open to everyone.

What the course covers

The course introduces the technologies that are changing how we observe, measure and manage water resources, from non-contact monitoring to remote sensing and data-driven approaches.

Who it is for

It is designed for students, young researchers and practitioners, with particular attention to capacity building in African universities.

Acknowledgements

I’m grateful to the colleagues who contributed their expertise and time, in particular Stefan Uhlenbrook (World Meteorological Organization, WMO) and Nick Everard (UK Centre for Ecology & Hydrology). Special thanks also go to Evelina Bruno and the whole Federica Web Learning team for their dedication and professionalism, and to all Share Africa partners.

Please share it with anyone who might be interested!
