Research, training, and knowledge exchange between Italy and Africa through the S.H.A.R.E. Africa project

We are delighted that Ateneapoli has dedicated an in-depth feature to S.H.A.R.E. Africa and, in particular, to the course on innovative technologies for sustainable water resource management, coordinated by Prof. Salvatore Manfreda.

A training experience that brought together 25 academics from North Africa for an intensive course on hydrological monitoring, modeling, water governance, and innovative tools to address the challenges posed by climate change and environmental vulnerability.

For us, this is a concrete example of how research, advanced education, and scientific cooperation can foster expertise, connections, and real opportunities for shared development between Italy and Africa.

A journey that does not end in the classroom, but paves the way for new collaborations, exchanges, and future projects.

Thank you to Ateneapoli for sharing this experience.
